Hunt County Hazard Mitigation Plan

Hunt County plans to update the Hazard Mitigation Plan to better protect the community from natural hazards like floods, storms, wildfires, earthquakes, and more.

There will be a Hazard Mitigation Public Meeting on May 19, 2026, from 4:30 PM to 5:45 PM. This will be at Commerce City Hall.

Hunt County welcomes the public to attend. Your input can help identify risks, prioritize projects, and make Hunt County more resilient.
