The office of City Council Members: Place One (1) and Place Three (3), and the Mayor will appear on the ballot. The deadline to file for a place on the ballot is 5:00 p.m. Friday, February 13, 2026. Applications for a Place on the Ballot can be found here and in the Candidate Packet and must be filed with the City Secretary’s Office (in City Hall, 1119 Alamo Drive, Commerce, TX 75429). May 2, 2026 General Election

For the purpose of electing a City Council Member to Place One (1) and Place Three (3) of the City of Commerce to a three-year term (May 2026 - May 2029).

The seat of Place One (1) is currently held by Anthony Henry.

The seat of Place Three (3) is currently held by Stephanie Muller.

The filing period for the May 2, 2026 General Election is 8:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2026 through 5:00 p.m. Friday, February 13, 2026.
