2025 Mosquito Spraying Schedule

The City of Commerce will be spraying for mosquitos in an effort to reduce a significant health risk to our community. We will begin implementing our Mosquito Management Plan on Monday, May 5, 2025, using a truck-mounted fogger.

The fogging unit's output is calibrated to ensure the correct amount of product is applied for each treatment area. All products are registered with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and are applied by a trained and state-certified technician.

The spraying is more effective if it takes place during peak mosquito activity hours. Mosquitos are most active around dusk. Spraying will begin around 7:00 p.m., weather permitting, and will continue in each area until it is completed. In the event of rain, the spraying will resume on the next scheduled day in your area. Mosquito spraying will continue, as scheduled above, through the end of September.
